About this base finder
Compiled November 6, 2026. This U.S. map includes 792 active DoD location records in U.S. states and territories, all 18 base entries in the Coast Guard LOGCOM directory and the Coast Guard Academy. It includes bases, training areas, Guard and Reserve facilities and other active sites. Separate records can belong to the same installation.
Public directories do not list every military facility. Small Coast Guard stations and tenant commands may be absent. Overseas locations are outside this page's scope. Some source names lag installation renamings; the search recognizes several former names.
DoD pins use published point coordinates. Coast Guard pins identify approximate installation areas. Confirm your duty location, authorized gate and reporting instructions with your command or sponsor. A marker identifies a location, not a preassigned Realtor or a guarantee of housing availability.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which branches can I filter on the map?
Choose Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard or Space Force. You can select more than one branch. The joint-base filter can be combined with a branch, place or name search.
How do joint bases appear in branch filters?
Major joint bases are tagged to their participating services. For example, Joint Base Lewis-McChord appears under Army and Air Force, and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst appears under Air Force, Army and Navy. The public source may list a subordinate joint site separately.
Does this map include every military facility?
It includes 792 active public DoD site records in U.S. states and territories, the 18 Coast Guard bases in the LOGCOM directory, the Coast Guard Academy, and no overseas destinations. Public directories do not list every facility. Small Coast Guard stations and many tenant commands may be absent. Use the official directory links to confirm your assignment.
Are map pins the correct gate for reporting or a daily commute?
No. Public DoD pins identify source locations. Coast Guard pins identify approximate installation areas. Confirm your command, duty location, authorized gate and reporting instructions with your sponsor before planning a commute or traveling.
How do I get matched with a Military Realtor at my next base?
Click a base marker or a destination in the list. Your selected installation carries into the matching form. Tell Gregg your contact details, move window and housing goals. Gregg reviews your request and draws on his extensive Military Realtor network to make an introduction suited to your destination. A marker identifies an installation, not a preassigned agent.
